FAQs

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

May I apply to more than one job?

Absolutely! If you apply for multiple roles simultaneously, you can even monitor the progress of each application through your candidate portal. While this is a common approach for many job seekers, we always advise focusing on positions that closely align with your skillset to increase your chances of being considered.

The recruitment team assigned to your application will communicate with you via the candidate portal and direct email. We recommend staying in touch with them through these channels, as this will ensure you connect with the most appropriate person.

Workday has an internal referral program, and you can be referred if you have friends, relatives, or acquaintances on our team. Please note the Job ID and the link for the position you’re interested in, and then reach out to your Workday contact to initiate the referral process. Once you’ve been referred, you will receive a unique email containing a link to apply for the job.

That depends on the specific software development role you are applying for. We utilize a variety of programming languages, so please review the job description carefully. As a side note, we do have our own object-oriented programming language called Xpresso but you can easily learn it once you join our team.

Workday embraces a flexible work approach that blends in-person collaboration with remote work, aiming to foster strong team connections and a vibrant community while enabling individuals to perform their best. Our Flex Work model means that employees spend at least half (50%) of their time each quarter in the office or engaging in fieldwork with customers, prospects, and partners, depending on their role. This provides the freedom to create a flexible schedule that aligns with business, team, and personal needs while also intentionally maximizing the value of in-person interactions.

For roles designated as “home office,” there are also opportunities to come together in our offices for significant moments. While remote work options are available and vary depending on the specific job, team, and client requirements (potentially including on-site, hybrid, or fully remote arrangements), we encourage you to carefully review the job description and discuss the specifics with your recruiter.

We strive to make our hiring process unique and personalized for each candidate, giving you the time and attention you deserve. Unfortunately, there isn’t a standard timeline, and the process can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to potentially longer. We encourage you to maintain communication with your recruiter throughout the hiring process for the latest updates.

Absolutely. We invite you to join our Talent Community, which serves as our central hub for candidates. Simply complete the talent acquisition form and upload your CV or resume so our recruitment team can easily find you.

The dress code can vary based on your location and your role. If you have a client-facing position, you will most likely be expected to dress in smart-business attire. However, if you work in a non-client-facing role, you can typically wear casual clothing (such as jeans and T-shirts). Our Workmates also enjoy wearing Workday-branded merchandise. We recommend checking with your team and manager for clarification.

We are very proud of our comprehensive benefits package, and it's something our Workmates highly value. Please note that benefits will differ depending on the country you are applying from. We encourage you to review the Workday Benefits page and find the information relevant to your location.

Yes, our recruitment team has written a blog post that shares interview tips and explains the application process at Workday.
