tiket.com’s vision to “become the most-loved travel and lifestyle platform” depends on its people making a continuous effort to understand and address its users’ unmet needs. Chief People Officer Dudi Arisandi says his People Team harnesses the best technology and HRpractices to support tiket.com’s HAPPY culture: Hungry, Agile, People-oriented, Performance-driven, and be Yourself.
Arisandi, who is recognized as one of Asia’s top HR leaders, encourages the People Team to build “human-oriented solutions.” Arisandi chose Workday to support tiket.com’s HR and finance transformation for its capacity to enable data integration, centralization, and security. Additionally, Workday seamlessly aligns with tiket.com’s People Team vision to offer the best employee experience.
“The innovative spirit of Workday aligns with tiket.com’s commitment to breaking old habits,” says Arisandi.
Work is more personal and productive.
Before digital transformation, tiket.com managed its employee data, contracts, leave, travel requests, and all people and finance reports manually. “It caused slow decision-making and many limitations,” recalls Arisandi. “Approvals relating to probation periods or leave requests were constantly held up, and team leaders wasted a lot of valuable time.”
Now that processes are simplified and digitized, tiket.com has reduced its administrative costs and saved people huge amounts of time. Managers automatically receive tasks in Workday without team members having to complete manual forms or send reminders.
Since deploying Workday Assistant in Slack, Arisandi has received great feedback from employees who can easily check leave and submit requests. “It’s reduced the number of questions we receive about admin processes,” Arisandi says.
Creating reports and searching for information has become much easier for employees and management.

AI-based tools help HR focus on more strategic tasks.
Arisandi is pleased to see HR freed from repetitive administrative tasks and redirect its time toward strategic thinking. “AI dials up the benefits of automation, helping our team to focus on value creation,” Arisandi says.
Nowhere is this more evident than at the People Team’s annual planning session. For example, the team now has time to conduct cross-analysis to ensure its metrics are relevant, ambitious, and grounded in evidence. As a result, Arisandi says, the People Team has a more visionary approach to workforce planning, learning and development, and employee engagement.
The commitment of Workday to responsible AI ensures the technology is developed and applied ethically, transparently, and with protections to prevent misuse.
