Yasmeen Ahmad is an industry pioneer in Agentic AI and the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Workday Data Cloud. Operating at the high-stakes intersection of People and Money, she leads the vision and execution for turning Workday’s trusted system of record into the definitive agentic runtime for enterprise execution.

With over a decade of experience driving AI and data transformation for the world's largest enterprises, Yasmeen previously served as Managing Director at Google Cloud. During her four-year tenure, she played a pivotal role in shifting the tech ecosystem from generative to agentic AI, redefining the Agentic Data Cloud portfolio, and driving massive-scale enterprise cloud adoption. Known as a battle-tested operator in engineering-first cultures, she guided the world's largest customers through complex AI deployments and secured dominant market positions across the data landscape.

Her architectural vision for deterministic, safe AI execution is rooted in her background as a pioneering data scientist. Before entering corporate tech, Yasmeen designed complex AI models for proteomic and genomic systems and built petabyte-scale data pipelines at the Wellcome Trust Centre in the UK.

Yasmeen holds a PhD in Life Sciences, has studied disruptive innovation at Harvard Business School, and is a multi-award-winning leader, named Data Scientist of the Year by Computing magazine and recognized globally as a Top 50 Data Leader.
