Carrie Varoquiers is the Chief Impact Officer at Workday, where she leads the Workday Foundation and Social Impact team. An insatiably curious and creative movement-builder and global philanthropy executive, Carrie has spent the past 25 years designing, launching, growing and investing in innovative initiatives that measurably improve lives.

As a leading voice on the human-technology frontier, Carrie specializes in AI’s transformative effects on both the labor market and our interpersonal relationships. Ultimately, her work is dedicated to steering technological advancement toward a future of collective human flourishing.

She also developed and executive produced a feature-length documentary film called UNTAPPED, focused on accelerating the skills-based hiring movement globally.

Carrie holds a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s degree in business administration from Golden Gate University, a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley, and is currently researching the impact of AI on human connection in the workplace. She serves on the board of JVS Bay Area.
