Sagility provides specialist tech solutions and services to U.S.-based health providers using a scalable, multishore delivery network across five countries. The company expanded its global delivery footprint, focusing on innovation and transformation. When SVP & Global Head of Enterprise Technology Manish Dubey reviewed Sagility’s back-office systems, he saw huge potential for both. HR and finance were operating on separate platforms and some processes were still manual.
“The growth of our business created an opportunity to make our systems and processes even more robust and future ready,” he recalls. “We saw a chance to modernize our systems, unify our data, simplify processes, unlock richer workforce insights, and empower our people with the right tools.”
Dubey says Workday stood out for its unified platform that would provide a single source of truth for both finance and HR—aligning with Sagility’s values of being agile and futuristic. “Hearing the success stories from other customers gave us the confidence that this was the right partner and the right tool for our journey,” he adds.
Empowering the workforce
With real-time data at their fingertips, HR and finance teams can now make faster, more informed decisions. Processes such as financial consolidation or people analytics that once took weeks now take only hours. Automation has significantly reduced manual effort, allowing teams to focus on higher-value strategic work that supports business outcomes.
The transformation has also elevated the employee experience. Accessing information, tracking growth, and engaging with the organization are now simpler and more intuitive. Dubey believes this is a contributing factor to Sagility being recognized as a Great Place to Work. “It’s a reflection of an environment where people are truly empowered and valued,” he says.
“At the enterprise level, Workday has helped us gain efficiencies across functions, break down silos, and create one connected view of our business.”

Building AI-powered capabilities
Sagility has long seen AI as an enabler that would improve efficiency, responsiveness, and the employee experience. Now, the company is seeing these benefits in action. AI-powered tools are helping HR teams to act faster, gain visibility into workforce skills, and make more confident decisions. Dubey thinks these early results have created a strong foundation for predictive capabilities that will help HR anticipate and act quickly to fulfill future workforce needs. He says HR teams are also beginning to see how AI tools can be used to personalize learning, career development, and recruitment while still retaining human oversight. “By keeping people in the loop, we ensure every decision balances efficiency with empathy,” he explains.
“Workday Illuminate™ means AI is no longer just a concept—it’s steadily becoming part of the way we work.”

Unlocking value faster
“Workday Success Plans have played a key role in our journey,” says Dubey. Access to expert guidance, best practices, and continuous learning opportunities have helped Sagility to get to value faster. Dubey says his team has been able to address challenges early, speed up adoption, and build stronger capabilities across the business.
“This journey with Workday has never felt like a typical vendor relationship. It’s a true partnership built on trust and shared values.”
