Unum was operating a complex network of 39 HR and financial applications—the majority of which were on premise, rigid, and subject to a limited user base. Finance and HR teams were burdened with multiple sources of information and a lagging capability set.

Why Workday.

Automated absence management in Workday laid the foundation for the development of HR Connect; Unum now provides HR Connect services for more than 400 mutual customers using the service and another 50 currently implementing streamlined processes such as Absence, Evidence of Insurance (EOI), Billing, and Intermittent Time Tracking.
