FAQs
Workday Data Cloud offers two options for zero-copy bi-directional connectivity:
Workday Data Lake offers zero-copy access to a single, curated set of Workday’s most important people and finance data – organised, trusted and ready to use.
Workday Live Data Query offers live access to people and finance data – so decisions are based on what’s happening now, not yesterday.
Workday Data Cloud also adds the ability to read data into Workday through Apache Iceberg.
Workday Data Cloud will initially support connections to and from the following platforms: Databricks, Google Cloud, Salesforce Data 360 and Snowflake. We plan to add support for additional technology platforms in future.
Starting with Early Adopter, customers will be able to leverage the custom Live Data Query driver with their tool of choice.
Workday Data Cloud will be available to public cloud customers.
