Workday was started with integration as a core design principle along with the philosophy that connectivity to other applications and information should be easier than it is today. Workday is committed to helping customers with application integration through the strict use of open standards, complete integration solutions to leading vendors, and easy-to-use tools that solve common integration use-cases.
The Workday Integration Network consists of a growing number of configurable integrations to complementary solutions that are created, executed, and maintained by Workday. Deployed in the Workday cloud, there are currently five sub-networks contained within the overall Workday Integration Network. Each sub-network links to partners who work with Workday to provide additional capabilities.
These networks are listed below, along with the types of integrations provided:
Because every company has different needs and uses different applications to meet those needs, some will need to connect to systems that are not yet part of Workday's networks. If the Workday Integration Network does not yet have a built-in integration to a particular vendor, Workday can still help you connect our solution to your critical business applications by building tailored integrations. By using our own standard integration tools, Workday is uniquely equipped to help your company ensure all of your systems are connected appropriately and adequately to keep your business up and running smoothly.
Customers or partners may also take advantage of Workday's standard integration tools to build integrations with or without Workday's direct assistance. Workday provides several easy-to-use integration tools that facilitate the process of transferring data between systems. With Workday's tools, you can configure and test data export formats yourself to ensure accuracy and efficiency on your own, or leverage Workday's professional services team.
The Workday Developer Network is an online community for developers to collaborate around our Workday applications and integrations. This developer network provides a variety of resources and training material on Workday Web Services (WWS) and the Workday Integration Tools as well as the opportunity to interact with the Workday Integration Team and other Workday customers.
