Workday Absence Management allows companies to define and manage both their accrued time off and leave-of-absence plans. To support the various ways organizations define time-off policies, Workday Absence Management provides a highly flexible and configurable set of rules to define eligibility criteria, accruals and accrual limits, negative balance limits, carryover allowances, and calculation period schedules.

A single architecture

And because it's all configured, there is no upgrade impact when Workday-delivered processes change.

Self-service

Absence information is readily available, and employees can easily review their balances and enter requests for time off or leaves of absence using configurable business processes. Employees use Workday's self-service application to view their absence balances, view estimated absence balances as of a future date, record their time off requests, and track the approval process of their requests. Delivered reports help managers and administrators track their population of employees on various leaves.
