Are you ready to take what you’ve learned in school and put it to work in the business world? The next generation of talent is important to Workday’s success. That’s why we aggressively seek the best and the brightest college students and graduates to join Generation Workday, a program that’s uniquely designed to nurture, develop, and challenge our future leaders. If you are passionate, fun, and live for breakthrough ideas, you should join our team.
Workday sponsors a number of programs to expose recent college graduates to multiple teams and projects. The programs were created to offer meaningful development opportunities within the company.
Not sure what you want to do? That’s okay. This program allows you to experience several multi-month rotations across a variety of technology-services teams. You’ll be immersed in all aspects of our tech development, from building the framework to creating cool UI and mobile products. And while you’re deciding what you want to pursue, the smartest technologists in the industry will be your mentors.
In this intensive development program, you will get thorough consultant and product training in our Pleasanton offices. This four- to six-month program builds your expertise so that you can become a certified Workday consultant. You will also receive training in other essential business areas, such as effective presentation skills and successful customer relations.
This program gives you the opportunity to engage in multi-month rotations across various products, technologies, and teams. Rotations may involve defining product design, working with customers and user-experience designers, and delivering features with development and operations teams. Even overseas rotations are possibilities. We focus on career mentorship, and help you develop the technical and product skills you need to be a successful product manager and future trailblazer.
Good work from our interns earns respect here. In fact, many of the application and product enhancements that were designed and created by our interns have made it into the final product. At Workday, the intern relationship is a two-way street—in return for the hard work our interns deliver, we provide development opportunities beyond the work itself.
Company leaders meet with interns to discuss relevant topics, introduce new product lines, and offer an overview of Workday from different perspectives.
Our social activities expose interns to local attractions while promoting Generation Workday community building. Your social calendar will be packed.
Workday leaders host regular lunches as a forum to delve into a specific technology, product, or area of innovation.
The Campus Ambassador Program gives interns the opportunity to spread the word about Workday on college campuses and help us recruit exceptional college talent.
At the end of the internship, our interns are given the opportunity to present their work to the entire intern team, as well as to their managers and the department VPs.
