About Workday Altitude.
All Workday Global System Integrators, and Services, Channel, and Software Partners who deploy Workday solutions are welcome to attend Workday Altitude.
The Global Workplace Safety team is closely monitoring the evolving state of COVID-19 in alignment with the CDC and local restrictions to ensure your health and safety.
The following protocols are currently in place:
- COVID-19 vaccinations and testing are not required for Workday Altitude. However, each Workmate is responsible for reviewing and following the entry and exit requirements of their home country to the U.S. Here is some helpful information provided by the CDC for all international travelers to and from the U.S.
- Only positive cases will require reporting to safety@workday.com.
- Attendees who are sick should stay home per our Global Healthy Workplace Policy.
While not required, masks will be provided at the event, along with hand-sanitizing stations and enhanced cleaning throughout the venue. All Workmates must comply with the Workday Global Healthy Workplace Policy.
Note: The health and safety protocols are subject to change.
No. However, each Workmate is responsible for reviewing and following the entry and exit requirements of their home country. Workday will reimburse any COVID-related testing fees, if applicable.
Here is some helpful information provided by the CDC for all international travelers to and from the U.S.
No. This year Workday Altitude is an in-person global event. Only select sessions will be available on demand after Workday Altitude, so please try your best to join us in person.
We expect approximately 3,800 attendees this year—more than 2,900 Workday employees and 850 partners.
The dress code is business casual. Please keep in mind that while we do our best to control the temperature in session rooms, we recommend that you bring a removable layer for your comfort.
For the Iconic Cast and Characters costume party, come dressed as your favorite character from a movie, show, or book.
Complete the “Workday’s Got Talent” entry form by Friday, June 9.
We strive to deliver a fully accessible and inclusive conference experience for every attendee. During registration, please provide any accessibility needs or personal considerations you require, and we will contact you directly to discuss the details of your specific requests and do our best to accommodate.
All cancelations must be received in writing. Since we base meal and seating plans on event registrations, please email us your cancelation notice as soon as your plans change.
Cancelation of all travel reservations is your exclusive responsibility. Note: One night hotel deposit is fully refundable if cancelation is made at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date.
Unfortunately, no. Only approved employees can attend this event. If you think your Workmate should have been invited and they did not receive an invitation, please email us.

No. Workday Altitude is for invited conference attendees only.
New CX hires will receive an invitation to register as long as their offer letter has been signed and returned, and their start date is on or before June 26, 2023. For more details, please email us.
To update or complete your registration or book a hotel, log in to the Attendee Portal using the link in your invitation. Or, visit the Attendee Portal and click Forgot Your Password?
We’ll notify you via email when it becomes available in mid-June.
The Session Catalog will launch in mid-June. We’ll notify you via email when it becomes available.
Yes, the event mobile app will be available for download closer to the event date, and you’ll receive an email with downloading instructions.
Travel.
Workday Altitude begins on Monday, July 10, at 9:00 a.m. Book your travel accordingly.
Domestic Attendees (within North America): Plan to arrive on Sunday, July 9, to complete your on-site registration, and depart after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12.
International Attendees (outside of North America): Plan to arrive on Saturday, July 8 or Sunday, July 9, to complete your on-site registration, and depart after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12.
Preconference Attendees: Optional Preconference Trainings will be offered on Sunday, July 9. Plan to arrive on Saturday, July 8, or early morning Sunday, July 9, if you’re attending.
On-site registration hours:
Saturday, July 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Monday, July 10, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, July 11, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 12, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Yes. To secure the most cost-effective flights, please book your air travel ASAP using the Workday Travel Tool (Egencia). If your country does not have access to the Travel Tool, refer to the Workday Travel and Expense Policy to learn how to book your flight.
When reserving your flight, choose Meeting – Altitude 2023 under Trip Purpose. Please do not reserve a hotel room through the Travel Tool.
Note: All flights for Workday Altitude, including international flights, should be booked in economy class. As in previous years, due to the number of attendees the travel policy has been amended to economy class to manage costs
Yes. If you’re an international employee coming from EMEA or APJ, you should arrive on Sunday, July 9 but can arrive on Saturday, July 8 depending on flights and time zone adjustments.
Note: All flights for Workday Altitude, including international flights, should be booked in economy class. As in previous years, due to the number of attendees, the travel policy has been amended to economy class to manage costs.
Make every effort to depart on Wednesday, July 12. All hotel charges need to be approved by your manager.
Before you travel, we recommend that you download the International SOS (ISOS) app. ISOS serves as your 24/7 on-call travel assistance for any medical, safety, or logistical needs that may arise. For any assistance needed during travel, contact ISOS via the call button on your ISOS app.
Hotel.
You are required to reserve your hotel room during registration by Friday, June 9, 2023. Do not reserve a hotel room via the Workday Travel Tool (Egencia) or directly through the hotel.
No. You need to provide your corporate credit card for all hotel expenses, then create an expense report for charges to be billed to your department cost center.
All hotels require a deposit equal to one night’s lodging plus tax when the reservation is made. This will be applied to your first night’s stay upon check-in.
All hotel charges outside of the Workday Altitude dates will be your responsibility unless the stay is required or approved by your manager.
No. We have a contracted block of rooms for Workday Altitude. You must register for the event and secure your hotel accommodations during the registration process. Any reservations booked outside the block will not be reimbursed.

Expenses.
Hotel, airfare, ground transportation, and all travel-related expenses can be billed to your department cost center. Check with your manager and refer to the Workday Travel and Expense Policy when making travel- and expense-related decisions.
When you submit expenses, please assign the “Workday Altitude 2023” project tag. Do not use the “Internal Meeting” project tag.
Note: All flights for Workday Altitude should be booked in economy class. As in previous years, due to the number of attendees the travel policy has been amended to economy class to manage costs.
All meals are provided at the conference, but you may expense meals during travel days only. The total of all daily meals while traveling should generally be within the following amounts:
U.S. and Canada: US$80, CAD 90
Europe: EUR 80, GBP 60, CHF 90, DKK 550, SEK 750, NOK 750
Asia Pacific: AUD 110, NZD 120, HKD 650, SGD 115, JPY 10,000
No. All meals are provided at the conference and additional expenses should not be incurred.
