UMGC has been sending faculty overseas to teach active-duty military personnel in Europe (since 1949) and Asia (since 1956), and currently operates online and on U.S. military installations in more than 20 countries.

A member institution of the University System of Maryland, UMGC is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

With Workday, the focus is on configuration as opposed to customizations, providing us flexibility and resulting in a cost-effective manner to approach making policy or system changes.
