Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer
Pete Schlampp is chief marketing and strategy officer at Workday, responsible for corporate and portfolio strategy, corporate and solution marketing, corporate growth and Workday Ventures.
Since joining Workday through the Platfora acquisition in 2016, Pete has held several leadership roles including executive vice president of product development and senior vice president, Workday Analytics. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in product management, engineering, marketing and operations, including vice president of marketing and product management at Solera Networks, where he built the first DVR for network traffic. Prior to Solera, Pete ran product management at IronPort Systems. When Cisco acquired IronPort in 2007, he led Cisco’s Security Technology Business Unit global development centre in Bangalore, India.
Pete holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in computer science from Boston College.
