Workday and the City and County of Denver

Denver, the capital of Colorado, is a consolidated city and county. It serves as the financial, transportation, and distribution center of the Rocky Mountain region. Denver was officially formed on November 7, 1861. A non-partisan elected mayor, an auditor, and a 13-member city council govern Denver. Nine main departments carry out the functions of city government.

Denver is the 22nd largest city in the country and home to 700,000 citizens who enjoy 300 days of sunshine a year. Denver has the sixth busiest airport in the nation, and was named the third best U.S. city to live in by U.S. News & World Report.

When we migrated to Workday, we eliminated over 75% of the paper we were processing, which permitted our HR professionals to redirect their valuable time to other more consultative support and strategic programs. Workday provided an enormous benefit for us.
