Martin's Point Health Care

Established in 1981, Martin’s Point Health Care® is a not-for-profit physician-led organization with headquarters in Portland, Maine. Employing over 400 dedicated staff, Martin’s Point provides both primary care and health plan services to the communities it serves.

Primary care and ancillary services such as radiology and pharmacy are offered at Health Care Centers in Portland and Brunswick, Maine and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Martin’s Point serves more than 35,000 patients at these Health Care Centers. Martin’s Point also recently affiliated with Evergreen Woods Primary Care in Bangor, Maine.

In addition to delivering care at its Health Care Centers, Martin’s Point also operates health plans and provides other health services to a variety of populations. Martin’s Point contracts with the Department of Defense to offer the US Family Health Plan to military (TRICARE) beneficiaries and also contracts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to offer Martin’s Point Generations Advantage®, a collection of Medicare Advantage health plans.

For employers, Martin’s Point offers PointPartners®, a health management and benefits administration solution for self-insured employer groups. Martin’s Point also offers other services, such as wellness programs, to both self-insured and commercially insured groups.
