Mark Peek, CFO and Co-President at VMware, to Join Workday Leadership Team
PLEASANTON, CALIF. – April 11, 2012 – Workday, Inc., the leader in SaaS-based enterprise solutions for global human resources (HR), payroll, and financial management, has appointed Mark Peek as the company's chief financial officer. Mark will join Workday in June.
Mark currently serves as CFO and co-president for VMware, the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure. Prior, Mark held the position of senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Amazon.com. Mark also spent 10 years as an audit partner at Deloitte, where he focused on technology companies and multinational project and engagement management. Mark has served on the Workday board of directors since late 2011 and on the board of directors for Trimble Navigation since 2010. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and international finance from Minnesota State University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
