More Than 30 Companies Live on Workday

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. – October 8, 2008 – More than 30 customers are now live on Workday's on-demand Human Capital Management and Financial8499 Management solutions. Workday customers are typically live in a matter of weeks or months, far faster than traditional, on-premise systems. Companies ranging from mid-sized business to the Fortune 500 continue to select Workday's on-demand services for dramatically lower total cost of ownership compared to on-premise systems. In addition, Workday offers new levels of agility, usability and integration capabilities-all without expensive upgrades and maintenance.

  • More than 60 companies have selected Workday as their core human resources and/or financial system of record.
  • All companies that are live on Workday are using the most current version - update 5.
  • Workday’s on-demand approach means that we can deliver updates to our solutions each quarter, enabling us to add functionality much more quickly than on-premise software.
  • Workday handles customer upgrades, ensuring that all customers are always running the latest version of our solutions.Customers get a new test environment, review new enhancements during the upgrade period, and then Workday transitions them to the latest update literally overnight.

  • Collaborative Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of management and IT consulting services, recently went live on Workday Financial Management to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial accounting and reporting. The company also went live on Workday HCM to manage organizations, assignments and expense reports and is in the process of rolling out Performance Management.
  • Leading specialty chemical manufacturer, H.B. Fuller Companies (NYSE:FUL), recently turned on Workday HCM to 1,200 employees in North America and is on track to unite all of its 3,200 employees across 32 countries in a single HR system. The new Workday service provides Employee and Manager Self Service with French support for employees in Canada.
  • Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. (AMEX: IMA) is a major global developer, manufacturer, and marketer of advanced consumer and professional medical diagnostic products. After acquiring Workday customer Biosite, Inverness adopted Workday HCM to bring more than 70 individual companies and more than 10,000 employees together within a single HR system. Inverness is now live on Workday HCM and Benefits Network across 13 companies and 2,400 employees across the U.S, with additional deployment ongoing.
  • Jeitosa Group International, a strategic business consulting and management advisory practice, is now using Workday HCM with self-service for their global workforce—including salaried employees and contingent workers—across 20 countries. The firm recently went live on Workday Financial Management with multi-country, multi-currency processing.
  • Southwestern Energy Company is focused on the exploration and production of natural gas. Southwestern Energy is now live on Workday HCM and Workday Benefits Network, providing its 1,400+ employees with employee self-service, and its global management team with access to real-time HR data and valuable management reports.
  • Thornburg Investment Management, Inc. and Thornburg Mortgage, Inc. (NYSE:TMA), two Santa Fe, New Mexico-based financial companies, are now live on their first HCM systems: Workday HCM and Workday Benefits Network. The system replaces manual, paper-based HR processes and provides the firm with sophisticated, automated reporting and pre-built integrations to benefits providers.
