PLEASANTON, CALIF. – October 6, 2009 – Workday, Inc., the leader in enterprise-class SaaS-based Human Resources (HR) and Financial solutions, today unveiled details of Workday Rising 2009 San Francisco. The three-day event, October 18-21 at the Palace Hotel, will feature more than 50 educational and collaborative sessions to help human resources, finance and technology professionals optimize their Workday deployments.

What's New

• R. “Ray” Wang, partner and analyst at Altimeter Group will present a keynote address on “Enterprise Applications in the Era of The Cloud and Web 2.0.” Following a distinguished tenure at Forrester Research, Ray joined Altimeter to lead the Enterprise Strategy practice, bridging the emerging world of Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 business solutions with today's enterprise applications and technologies. Wang has provided enterprise strategy consulting to some of the world's leading organizations, and the Institute of Industry Analyst Relations named him “Analyst of the Year” in both 2008 and 2009.
• Workday co-CEOs Dave Duffield and Aneel Bhusri will also keynote the conference to discuss the company’s plans for 2010 and the state of Software-as-a-Service and enterprise software.
