Workday Mobile Solutions
Workday for iPhone brings a new level of self-service to enterprise business applications, enabling employees and managers to take care of critical tasks wherever they work.
- Less bottlenecking, more productivity. With Workday for iPhone, mobile workers can submit approvals, manage personal to-do lists, and view the status of their submitted requests, such as past expense reports. By having easy access to their internal Workday system, mobile workers can “take care of business” whenever they’re away from their desk or on the road.
- Access to what you need, where you need it. Finding a colleague’s phone number or email seems like it should be the simplest thing when you’re on the go. But without direct access to the corporate directory, the simplest task turns into a goose chase just to get someone’s contact information. Now with Workday for iPhone, anyone can browse their corporate directory right from their iPhone, eliminating the need to navigate complex voicemail systems just to make a call. With the integration to iPhone capabilities, calling or emailing the right person is simply one touch away.
- Included free with Workday Solutions. Workday for iPhone requires no additional costs or administrative/IT setup. It is included as part of your subscription to Workday.
Workday’s mobile solutions are built on top of Workday’s core system of record and leverage Workday’s SaaS architecture. This means that password and security settings that have been established by a company are fully enforced on mobile users, and all updates to tasks, processes, and to-do lists made on the iPhone are saved directly on the Workday system without the need for synching. Additionally, all current and future mobile solutions will have access to the latest and most advanced capabilities with each Workday release.
Workday for iPhone will be available for download for free from the iTunes App Store. Workday is committed to enabling and increasing worker productivity, and will be supporting additional mobile devices (including Blackberry) later this year.
